Emergence is a platform for aspiring choreographers seeking to develop their craft and gain greater exposure. Guided by renowned industry mentors, participants culminate their journey by presenting works in a ticketed showcase.
Returning as a biennial programme, this year’s edition is themed “Wings of Aspiration.”
Here, passion meets imagination as emerging voices shape new languages of movement, blending tradition with innovation. It is where dreams take flight, and where the future of Chinese dance is reimagined by the next generation.
An open call for new works will open on 4 June 2026.
