SEASON MESSAGE

For our 2026/27 season, we draw inspiration from a single character — Yè (烨). Composed of the radicals’ “fire” (火) and “Chinese” (华), this word embodies the spirit of a flame that burns quietly within us — a cultural fire, a light of resilience, a duty of remembrance. This is why I chose to walk this path of inheritance: to carry and continue the glow that has long lit the hearts of our people.

Yè is not a roaring blaze, but a steady light. It is enduring, radiant, and deeply rooted — just like our art.

A poetic double bill honouring unsung cultural keepers, grandmother and paper-cutting artisans, whose silent light shaped generations.

Dance returns to daily life in this festive gathering. In laughter, rhythm, and shared space, art becomes home again.
