Taking Flight 2023

Established since 2007, Taking Flight is a platform specially designed for students of Singapore Chinese Dance Theatre's (SCDT) Outreach & Education division, where dancers of all ages and abilities have the opportunity to showcase themselves on stage.

After being on a hiatus for the past few years, SCDT is deeply heartened to be able to bring Taking Flight back this year, to continue giving our students an invaluable experience of performing on a big stage with their peers.

This “Taking Flight”, get ready to immerse yourselves in 13 diverse dance repertoires earnestly prepared by our teachers and students!

Take flight with the performers as they fearlessly present you with an evening of delightful dance performances devised with dedication and love.
